Poo~Pourri Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Does it really work? Yes.. .yes and yes! While our name has humor, the product itself is serious business (no pun intended). This product has been tested by many people for months with an overwhelmingly positive response!

2. Will it work on my husband? Ironically this is the most commonly asked question by women. And the answer is extremely likely! Our experience with testers has been that it works on most everyone.

3. Why is it milky looking/Why do you have to shake it? The chemicals that we would have had to use to emulsify the product completely were artificial, harsh and not earth friendly! We opted to stay more natural.

4. What about gaseous odors? While the product does have odor neutralizing effects, it is made to trap the odors in the toilet. If you experience residue odors due to gas, we suggest you spray Poo~Pourri lightly in the air after using the restroom. Be careful though, the essential oils will get on surfaces and may damage some materials as well as make the surface slick.

5. Will the oils in Poo~Pourri leave a residue on my toilet? That has not been our experience! Because of the emulsifying agent in Poo-Pourri and the agitating motion of the water that comes from flushing most if not all the Poo-Pourri ends up being flushed. Therefore not leaving a residue behind. It may even leave it cleaner.

6. Will it hurt the toilet, pipes or septic system? All of the ingredients in Poo-Pourri are commonly found in other bath products and should have no more effect to any part of your waste water system than using a natural shampoo or conditioner in your shower.

7. Is it safe for children? We advise use by a parent only prior to children using the restroom. Do not allow the child to ingest the product, nor put on skin or in eyes. To be safe, we recommend keeping away from all children or using only with parental supervision.

8. Can I use it in my litter box? While it would be effective in a litter box, we strongly advise against it. Cats have extremely powerful olfactory glands and they are more affected by odor than we are. Please speak to a vet before any use around pets. This is a personal choice.

9. Can you use it in an RV, Boats, Portable Potties etc? Yes, it may not be as effective because of the low water level but it will be more effective than nothing.

12. Who buys Poo-Pourri? Everyone! It's a great gift! We encourage it for Bunko gifts, wedding showers, baby showers, etc. It is a conversation piece at parties.
